First off, thanks to everybody we had the pleasure to gather and meet with during homecoming weekend!  The cocktail reception and both KSCR booths were great successes.  The Fund On! campaign is officially in full swing and it got started right - thanks to dedicated KSCR friends, current members, and engaged alumni.

In other news, the New York Times recently came out with an article portraying the importance of college radio despite declines in overall radio listenership.  It’s a good read, check it out here.

You may have noticed that we have a plethora of new tabs across the top of kscrfriends.com. If you are a KSCR alum, benefactor, or well-wisher, we would like to invite you to register with us. This will help us keep track of KSCR’s talented pool of alumni (and other friends of KSCR) in the future as well as give you access to myKSCR. myKSCR allows you to upload your profile as well as files, photos, or links for the KSCRchives. We invite you to share your memories with us!

Additionally, we have created a donations page which should make the process as easy as pie. Remember that donations of $1,000 or more will get your name on a plaque in the Ronald Tutor Campus Center, and $2,000 or more will get your name immortalized in the new KSCR studios as well!

So go ahead and register, play around with the new pages, make a donation, and we’ll see you this Friday at the Bonaventure Brewing Co and/or at one of two KSCR booth locations at USC’s homecoming game this Saturday. Beat the Huskies!
